Compulsory Training Nights
COMPULSORY TRAINING NIGHTS
North Coast Football referees are required to attend one of three upcoming compulsory training nights across the zone as part of their ongoing development. Dave Thorn will be coordinating the training at these sessions which have been designed as practical exercises featuring events likely to arise in most matches.
The three sessions are:
Session 1
Urunga, Monday 19th July, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Morgo St Fields (Bottom).
Session 2
Coffs Harbour, Monday 26th July, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, McLean St Fields.
Session 3
Woolgoolga, Monday 2nd August, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, High St Fields.
It is not compulsory for any referee to attend all three sessions, however it is mandatory that every referee working within North Coast Football Zone attend at least one (1).
Three local referees who have attended the Northern NSW TAP camp, (Amanda Riley, Konrad Wheatley and Eleanor Hayes) will be present at these nights to help put the referees through their paces using knowledge gained during their elite training.
(Clarence Referees are expected to attend their training nights as organised by Dave Anderson and Alex Morrison)
No Apologies. YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST ONE OF THESE TRAINING NIGHTS if you are interested in continuing to referee.

Referee Seminar
NORTH COAST FOOTBALL ZONE
REFEREES' SEMINAR
North Coast Football Referees are preparing for the new season with a seminar on Sunday February 28th in Coffs Harbour.
The seminar, to be conducted by Northern NSW Referee Director of Coaching Ossie Bellamy, will be held at the Exhibition Hall at Coffs Harbour Showground from 9am - 1pm.
The seminar will bring all NCFZ referees up to date with the direction of the world game and their responsibilities as match officials in 2010.
In addition to the seminar, there will be a brief awards presentation and light luncheon.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
North Coast Football Referees (NCFR) is seeking the services of a person to assist in the administrative affairs of the organisation. People wishing to be considered for the position should forward their resume and a letter of interest with their vision of what they can bring to the position, to the Secretary by Friday 19th February 2010.
The following non exclusive list of duties will be the core of what is expected to be completed;
Contact Referees regarding outstanding registration and send off forms
Seek feedback information from referees failing to reregister
Seek information weekly from referees on their failure to fulfill appointed duties.
Support the Referees Appointments Co-ordinator with the referees appointments
Log referee appointments completed from result sheets and/or match cards received at the NCF Office
A desk and phone will be made available at the NCF office in Coffs Harbour for the successful person to work at as they will be required to deal with incoming match cards at this office. The successful applicant may be permitted to carry out some of the duties from another location if approved by the NCFR executive committee.
Out of pocket expenses and a gratuity are available to the successful applicant.
Referees who replied to the previous expression of interest do NOT need to reapply.

Positions Vacant - NCF Referees Zone Coach
NCF REFEREES ZONE COACH
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
North Coast Football Referees (NCFR) is seeking the services of a person to carry out Referee Coaching duties in the Zone. People wishing to be considered for the position should forward their resume and letter of interest (with a vision of what you can bring to the position) to the Secretary by Friday 12th February 2010.
The following non exclusive list of duties will be the core of what is expected to be completed;
Conduct Senior Referees training sessions.
Work with Branch Referees Coaches to conduct junior referees training sessions
Run Level 3 Referees courses
Coordinate the appointment of referees inspectors to games in the NCF Senior competition
Carry out Inspections on Senior Referees
Give feedback to Referee Appointment Officers on the standard of Referees
An office desk and phone will be made at the NCF office in Coffs Harbour for the successful person to work at however they may be permitted to work from another location if approved by the NCFR executive committee. Out of pocket expenses and a gratuity may be available to the right candidate.
It would be expected that the successful applicant would hold a referees coaching certificate and have good personal skills.
